Aug 11.00: Light For The Day - "Step Out in Faith"

"Step Out in Faith"

For years I sought to be a poet. 
Lord, I prayed, use me to spread your word. 
I sat back and patiently waited 
for my prayer to be heard. 

The poems did not come-- 
Yet, somehow, I knew, deep within 
that a poet He would have me be. 
I kept waiting for poems to begin. 

Then, one day, tired of waiting, 
I sat down, begin to write 
whatever came into my mind, 
not concerned if it was right. 

"Write for me," he said. 
"I never call, but I empower. 
Write for me, I'll show the way, 
whatever the needs of the hour." 

He showed me how to structure, 
how to write and then refine. 
As I begin to reach out in faith 
He, my mission, did define. 

"You must reach out, take a step in faith, 
then, I'll give you what you need--- 
Show me you are sincere, 
then on my word you can feed. 

When I call, you must respond. 
Show me you are open to my call-- 
Then I will empower you with skill 
That will enable you to do my will.

unless they believe in Him?
And how can they believe in Him if they have
never heard about Him? 
And how can they hear about Him unless

That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, 
“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring
Good News!”

Please pray for (MS GHT) Rev. Quang B. Nguyen:
The US hospital was given up on his liver cancer.
But by God will, he is been treat by a Christian
Institude in Mexico with natural methods and prayers.
God answers prayers, he is slowly recovering and
there is hope. 

Please continue to pray for his recovery. 

Because it's out of the US hospital system, 
his insurance won't pay for the treatment which
cost more than $8000/week.
