Aug.21.00: Light For The Day - "God's falling stars"

"God's falling stars"

I saw a falling star last night,
And I thought, how like that I be.
To be borne into this world below,
A world as sinful as can be !

I thought "how that star twinkled"
Still, in the eyes of God, I believe,
Aren't we all God's "Falling Stars"
Though God's blessings we all receive.

I love my God so much today,
But, I always make a "mistake"
It seems more and more I wish for Light
To be saved for Jesus's Sake !

We are all Stars in God's own eyes,
And we are Imperfect Roses to His Heart.
Our failings are known everyday,
But God can give us all a new start.

For Salvation is for everyone,
Even an ole' dog of sin as me.
And God can help us to the Cross,
And to Blessed Eternity.

How like a Falling Star I am;
But God's skies are for us all.
Please help us Lord to be on High,
Where Stars, they never Fall.
