Oct.27.00: Light For The Day - "The House Of Worship" -- John 4:23 (RSV) "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit  and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him." --------------------------- "The House Of Worship" You can build a fine cathedral, and give it the towns' tallest steeple. And you can ring the bells each Sunday, to try and draw in people. You could pay thousands for an organ, so music floats to fill the air. But the finery is flawed & futile, if the Gospel isn't there. God doesn’t care about the carpet, or stained - glass windows up above. What He wants is for people to accept His grace. Through His Son's redeeming blood. Jesus came to be more than our Sunday morning. He died to be our salvation every day. And He's much more than just a statue, to whom we bow and pray.
