Dec.08.00: Light For The Day - "Kind Words" -- Proverbs 16:24  "Kind words are like a honeycomb,  sweetness to the soul and health to the body." ----------------- Dear Father,  With all of the sourness and tartness in today's world, help my words to be words like honey. May they be sweet and honest. May I commend and bless in such a way that the results are enjoyable and healthful.  Cause me to realize, Lord, that kind words are not always words that sound kind. Sometimes kind words reprimand while at other times they are a soft disagreement. May I understand that kind words must come out of a heart that has kindness in it. Give me the right kind of kindness in my heart to put forth the right kind of words. In Jesus' Name, Amen. -- Rev.
