May.15.01: Light For The Day - "The Artist" -- 1 Peter 5:10 (RSV) "And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace,  who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ,  will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you." ---------------------- "The Artist" Gentle brush across my spirit Just to let me know, Gentle pull within me,  Deep within my soul. Brushes out a picture,  Utter peace and calm, Wonder why it’s taking, Taking me so long. To recognize the call  Open up my ears, Soothing voice calling Calling for years and years. Haven deep within me,  Safety from the storm, Place of creativity  Where all these things are born. From that place of safety I can hear the call, Calling there forever,  Hear it above the howl. Deep within my spirit, Can you hear it? Call? Calling out day and night, Sings to you and me, Times I’m not precisely  Where I ought to be, I can hear Him,  Calling unto me. Place of peace and calm,  Utter clarity, Always hear it,  In my spirit,  Calling unto me. Times I try to ignore it,  Won’t you let me be? Doesn't stop or Faze Him,  Keeps calling unto me.
