Dec.17.01: Light For The Day - "Remember Why" -- John 1:1-5 1 In the beginning was the Word,  and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made;  without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness,  but the darkness has not understood it." ------------------------- "Remember Why" Many years ago, a star appeared one night Pointing to the birth, of a very special light The birth of one small child, in a manger on that day Would forever change the world, in a very special way!  This child would live and grow, though Satan wished him dead This child would live and grow, just as God had said This child would live and grow, exposing evil's lie This child had come to life, so that he might die!  As the years went by, this child grew to a man Touching all the world, with a very special plan Lest we all forget, just why he came to live Let us all remember, what he came to give!  And on this day of joy, that we all celebrate As we've rushed all week, so we would not be late Let us all remember, this one most awesome sight The child born in the manger, is coming back in might!  May God Bless You On This Very Special Day All My Love -- Jay L.
