"Tear From The Spirit"

Rivers of tears flow, but I'm not sad,
These are tears that make me glad.
Such deep happiness I have found,
I feel God's love, all around.

He loves me wholly, I know not why,
That's why my soul is lead to cry.
Tears of joy, of a journey flowing within,
Tears that wash away all my sin.

Tears of revelation, tears of relief,
Tears from the Spirit to confirm by belief.
Tears to reassure me of His eternal love,
Tears of redemption that lifts me far above.

There is no love I've felt from earthly passions,
As this pure cleansing love that knows no fashions.
These tears unlock the hurt inside,
Tears that break the human dam of pride.

Never be ashamed to shed the tears of love,
That have been sent you from our Father above.
