Lftd - "Seek The Lord With Your Whole Heart"
-- Psalm 119:10 (RSV)
"With my whole heart I seek Thee;
let me not wander from Thy commandments!"
-------------------------
Now, O Christian, cease for awhile from your work,
wihdraw yourself from your stormy thoughts,
forget your weary and burdensome struggling,
give yourself for a time to God, and rest calmly in Him.
Leave all around you where God is not,
and where you wilt find no help from Him;
go into the inner chamber of your heart,
and shut the door behind you.
-- Anselm
Entering into prayer is a leaving behind of our earthly duties for a
while.
And when we return to them,
we come to them refreshed and prepared.
Jesus prayed and fulfilled His mission on earth.
We too have a mission and it can only be discovered in
our times of prayer. And there too we gain the strength to
complete our mission.
All earthly things
With earth will fade away,
Prayer grasps eternity.
Then pray, always pray!

-- Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV)
'Call to me and I will answer you
and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'
-- Isaiah 55:6 (NIV)
"Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call on Him while He is near."
-- Psalms 119:1,2 (NIV)
"1 Blessed are they whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the LORD.
2 Blessed are they who keep His statutes and
seek Him with all their heart."
