Sept.24.02: Light For The Day - "Your Faithfulness"

"O LORD, You are my God;
I will exalt You and praise Your name,
for in perfect faithfulness You have done marvelous things,
planned long ago.

How wonderful to know You continually keep me in mind, dear LORD.
I can't comprehend how You watch over me day and night.
When I rest my head on the pillow, You are there.
When I rise in the morning, I can greet You and thank You for a new day.
I praise You for how Your sweet presence surrounds me.

As I read my Bible and commune with You,
I am nourished by Your Word.
You surround me with Your presence
like the fragrance of roses in full bloom.

How I praise You for loving me with an unwavering love.
It surpasses all else. Your presence goes beyond all limits.
It is stronger and more powerful than any mountain.

As You walk me through my day.
You unfold Your lessons so I might listen and not err.
I'm learning to heed Your guidance rather than react
unwisely to whatever comes my way.

Thank You for letting me take refuge within Your protecting wings.
Thanks You for supplying my need,
feeding me physically and spiritually,
allowing me to drink from Your living water.

My heart is full of Your exquisite joy as
You honor me with Your constant presence.
Your are so wonderful, my God!
To You I give glory, honor, and praise.
