June.25.03: Light For The Day - "My Praying Friend" -- Philippians 1:4 "In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy." -- Colossians 1:3 (NIVUS) "We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you." --------------------- When I dialed her phone number, Father, I knew my friend would already be armored to do battle in prayer for me. Not only did she pray, she fasted and prayed! What a dear and loving friend. Thank You for her. More than once she has dropped everything so we could talk and pray together. Help me also to be keenly aware; to stop immediately and pray together with others for their needs right at the time. How precious are our praying friends, Father. Truly, they make up Your kingdom. Thank You for hearing each earnest prayer and answering according to You loving will. I think these prayer warriors must be a pleasure for You to watch and hear. May I be a worthy prayer warrior in Your eyes, so Your greatness and power may be revealed and wonderful results follow.
