Here I am! I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears My Voice and Opens the door,
I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.

"Don't You Hear the Knock?"
I'm hanging ribbons all around,
I'm calling up my kin --
Won't you help me celebrate?
I've just been Born Again!
You see, I once was dead,
Consumed by a world of sin-
But Jesus knocked on my heart,
Saying, "Won't you let Me in?"
He knocked for quite a while,
Ever so patient was He-
I pretended not to hear Him,
But He never gave up on me.
I fell upon my knees one day,
I could resist no more!
Jesus was patiently waiting
When I unlocked the door.
I couldn't believe He hadn't gone
All the while I was astray --
He brushed away my tears
And said "I've waited for this day".
He came into my heart,
Peace filled me from within-
He showered me with love
And washed away my sin.
Oh friends, listen closely,
Don't you hear His knock?
Let Jesus into your life today-
Open up the lock!

4 "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked.
"Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!"
5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter
the Kingdom of God unless he is Born of Water and the Spirit.
6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
In His great mercy He has given us New Birth into a Living Hope
through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade --
kept in Heaven for you,
5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of
the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
23 For you have been Born Again, not of perishable seed,
but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God.

21 Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me.
He who loves Me will be loved by My Father,
and I too will love him and show Myself to him."
22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "But, Lord,
why do You intend to show Yourself to us and not to the world?"
23 Jesus replied, "If anyone loves Me, he will obey My teaching. My Father
will love him, and We will come to him and make Our Home with
him.
24 He who does not love me will not obey My Teaching. These Words
you hear are not My own; they belong to the Father who sent
Me.

"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD.
"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion.
For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!

12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength,
that He considered me faithful, appointing me to His service.
13 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man,
I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.
14 The Grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly,
along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners
-- of whom I am the worst.
16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners,
Christ Jesus might display His unlimited patience as an example for those
who would believe on Him and receive eternal life.

8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends:
With the Lord a day is like a thousand years,
and a thousand years are like a day. (Ps 90:4)
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness.
He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish,
but everyone to come to repentance.

5 You are forgiving and good, O Lord,
Abounding in love to all who call to You.
15 But You, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
