Oct.25.06: Light for the Day - "The Will of God" (Viet)
(C)
(S)
(F)
-- John 7:16-17
16 Jesus answered, "My teaching is not My own.
It comes from Him who sent Me.
17 If anyone chooses to do the Will of God, he will find out whether
My teaching comes from God or whether I speak on
My own."
-- Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world,
but be Transformed by the Renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what the Will of
God
is --
His good, pleasing and perfect Will.
-- 1 Peter 3:17
For it is better, if it is the
Will of God,
to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
-- Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those
who love God, who have been called according to His purpose.
---------------------
The Will of God
The Will of God will never take you,
Where the Grace of God cannot keep you,
Where the Arms of God cannot support you,
Where the Riches of God cannot supply your needs,
Where the Power of God cannot endow you.
The Will of God will never take you,
Where the Spirit of God cannot work through you,
Where the Wisdom of God cannot teach you,
Where the Army of God cannot protect you,
Where the Hands of God cannot mold you.
The Will of God will never take you,
Where the Love of God cannot enfold you,
Where the Mercies of God cannot sustain you,
Where the Peace of God cannot calm your fears,
Where the Authority of God cannot overrule for you.
The Will of God will never take you,
Where the Comfort of God cannot dry your tears,
Where the Word of God cannot feed you,
Where the Miracles of God cannot be done for you,
Where the Omnipresence of God cannot find you.
Everything Happens for a Purpose.
We may not see the wisdom of it all now,
but Trust and Believe in the Lord
that everything is for the best.

-- Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
-- Luke 11:2
So He said to them, "When you pray, say:
Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. Your Kingdom come.
Your Will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
-- John 14:15-17, 26-27
15 If you love Me, you will obey what I command.
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor
to be with you forever --
17 The Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it
neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him,
for He lives with you and will be in you.
26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in
My Name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything
I have said to you.
27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
-- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24
16 Be joyful always;
17 Pray continually;
18 Give thanks in all circumstances,
For this is the Will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
19 Do not put out the Spirit’s fire;
20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt.
21 Test everything. Hold on to the good.
22 Avoid every kind of evil.
23 May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through
and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept
blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it.
-- 1 Peter 4:16-19
16 Yet if anyone suffers as a
Christian, let him not be ashamed,
but let him glorify God in this matter.
17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God;
and if it begins with us first, what Will be the end of those who
do not obey the gospel of God?
18 And, "If it is hard for the righteous to be saved,
what Will become of the ungodly and the sinner?" (Prov. 11:31)
19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the Will of God
commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.
-- Mark 3:35
For whoever does the Will of
God
is My brother and
My sister and mother.
-- Luke 22:42
"Father, if it is Your Will, take this cup away from Me;
nevertheless not My Will, but Yours, be done."
-- Romans 1:10
In my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by
God‘s Will
the way may be opened for me to come to you.
-- Romans 8:26-30
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.
We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself
intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
27 And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit,
because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with
the Will of God.
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those
who love God, who have been called according to His purpose.
29 For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed
to the likeness of His Son, that He might be the firstborn
among many brothers.
30 And those He predestined, He also called;
those He called, He also justified;
those He justified, He also glorified.
--------------------
-- Psalms 143:10-11
10 Teach me to do Your Will, For You are my
God;
Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
11 Revive me, O LORD, for Your name’s sake!
For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
-- Psalms 40:8-11
8 I delight to do Your Will, O my God,
And Your Law is within my heart.
9 I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness In
the great assembly; Indeed, I do not restrain my lips,
O LORD, You Yourself know.
10 I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart;
I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation;
I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth
From the great assembly.
11 Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O LORD;
Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.
-- Psalms 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and Lead me in the way everlasting.
-- Psalms 25:4-5
4 Show me Your Ways, O LORD,
Teach me Your Paths;
5 Guide me in Your Truth and Teach me,
for You are God my Savior,
and my hope is in You all day long.
