("Pray To Receive Christ")

-- Psalms 22:9-10
9 Yet You brought me Safely from my mother’s womb and led me to Trust You when I was a nursing infant. 10 I was thrust upon You at my birth. You have been my God from the moment I was born.

"A Child's Angel"

Once upon a time, there was a child ready to be born.
So, one day he asked God:

They tell me You are sending me to earth tomorrow,
but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?

God: Among the many angels, I chose one especially for you.
She will be waiting for you and will take care of you.

Child: But tell me, here in Heaven, I don't do anything else
but sing and smile, and that's enough for me to be happy.
Will I be happy there?

God: Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you
every day. And you will feel your angel's love and be happy.

Child: And how am I going to be able to understand when
people talk to me, if I don't know the language that men talk?

God: Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet
words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care,
your angel will teach you how to speak.

Child: And what am I going to do when I want to talk to You?

God: Your angel will place your hands together
and will teach you "How To PRAY."

Child: I've heard that on earth there are bad people.
Who will protect me?

God: Your angel will defend you even if it means
risking her own life.

Child: But I will always be sad because I will not
see You anymore.

God: Your angel will always talk to you about Me
and will teach you the way to come back to Me,
even though I will always be next to you.

++ At that moment, there was much peace in Heaven,
but voices from earth could already be heard,
and the child in a hurry asked softly:

Oh God, if I am about to leave now,
please tell me my angel's name.

God: Your angel's name is of no importance.
You will call your Angel .... Mommy.

-- Psalms 127:3
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from Him.

-- Psalms 71:5-6
5 For You have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth. 6 From birth I have relied on You; You brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise You.

Children are a gift from God
On loan from Heaven above,
To train and nourish in the Lord
And show to them His love.

"Unborn Child"

I heard your heartbeat yesterday,
So fast and furious.
Just lightly you are kicking now,
I know you're curious.

You recognize your Mama's voice,
And love your Daddy's touch.
Music seems to make you sleep,
We love you Dear-so much.

Wondering if you are our boy,
Or our precious little girl...
One thing is certain, either way,
You're the center of our world.

Forgive us if we yell at times,
Emotions are running wild,
We're anxious, frightened, excited - scared,
To meet you, my Dear child.

I've tried to eat what's best for us,
I'm far from perfect though.
They say my waddle brings a smile,
That I have that "inner glow."

Nighttime you're a joy to watch,
My tummy's grown tenfold-
I pat your bottom, you respond,
You're precious for me to hold.

The time's approaching quickly now,
I know you're anxious too,
My life will be forever changed,
From the moment I touch you.

-- Psalms 139:13-16
13 For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in Your Book before one of them came to be.

"Life"

I'm safe and warm in my mother's womb;
And my time of arrival is coming soon.

I'm glad she decided to keep me!
What does she look like? I wanna see!

Its' really getting quite crowded in here.
Oh well, I guess "The Time" is getting near.

My mom, she's talking to me and it sounds so good.
I can feel her hand ~
I want to touch it ~ If only I could!

Her voice is wonderful and really great;
I'm anxious to meet her ~ I can hardly wait!

It's getting really tight in here;
I don't think I'll stay much longer.
I'm growing and getting much stronger!

Ouch! I think I fell and bumped my head!
"The baby's coming", Is that what my mom said?
What an ordeal! I think I'm being squeezed too tight!
But wait; there is a tunnel and up ahead a small light!

Mom, this is it, and I'll finally get to meet you!
Go ahead, push, I'll make my way thru!

What is this? It's cold out here!
Where's my mom? I need her near!

Hey mom! Where did you go? I'm afraid!
They're wrapping me up~Yes! In mom's arms I'm laid.

Mom? You're crying, what is wrong?
Aren't you happy to meet me?
The time's been so very long!

It's nice and cozy and warm in your arms.
And I have a feeling you'll keep me from harm.
I've got so much learning to do.
But it will get done; Just me and you!

After all this I'm really sleepy;
But first I hope you know, I love you deeply!
After all these months and labored hours;
This moment I cherish, for it is just ours!

In mom's arms I feel so secure.
She's got a lot of love; I'll be safe; I am sure!

Now many years have passed since that miracle event.
I wonder just where all those years have went.
Swiftly they have all flown by;
And mom was there when I laughed or cried.

The bond we have is, Oh so deep!
I pray to God more years we'll keep.

Mom, I'm tired now and need to rest;
But remember, Mom;
I always thought you were the best!

-- 2 Timothy 1:5
"I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you."

-- Proverbs 23:25
Let your father and mother be glad, Let her who bore you rejoice.

-- Exodus 20:12 (Deut. 5:16; Eph. 6:2-3)
Honor your father and your mother, So that you may Live Long in the land The LORD your God is giving you.

-- Isaiah 49:15
Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for a child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you!
