When we cry, "Abba! Father!" 16 it is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God, -- Proverb 23:22 Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. 
The Greatest Father of All The Greatest Father ever was Dwells in the heavens, up above. He gave us His only begotten Son, Who paid sin's price for everyone. You know, it had to cause God grief; As His Son suffered beyond belief. But, God knew that His Son's sacrifice Would bring us all eternal life. He felt the pain His son went through; Was worth it all, for me and you. And, even Jesus didn't count the cost, As His Life's Blood drained from that old cross. So, let's all wish our Heavenly Father A Happy Father's Day And thank Him for His great sacrifice, As we bow our heads to pray. Happy Father's Day! What Is A Dad? A dad is someone who wants to catch you before you fall but instead picks you up, brushes you off, and lets you try again. A dad is someone who wants to keep you from making mistakes but instead lets you find your own way, even though his heart breaks in silence when you get hurt. A dad is someone who holds you when you cry, scolds you when you break the rules, shines with pride when you succeed, and has faith in you even when you fail... Fathers seldom say "I love you" Though the feeling's always there, But somehow those three little words Are the hardest ones to share. And fathers say "I love you" In ways that words can't match - With tender bedtime stories - Or a friendly game of catch! You can see the words "I love you" In a father's boyish eyes When he runs home, all excited, With a poorly wrapped surprise. A father says "I love you" With his strong helping hands - With a smile when you're in trouble With the way he understands. He says "I love you" haltingly, With awkward tenderness - (It's hard to help a four-year-old into a party dress!) He speaks his love unselfishly By giving all he can To make some secret dream come true, Or follow through a plan. A father's seldom-spoken love Sounds clearly through the years - Sometimes in peals of laughter, Sometimes through happy tears. Perhaps they have to speak their love In a fashion all their own. Father And Son Conversation A father was having trouble getting his son to cut his long hair. When the boy asked to borrow the family car. The father said, "You may borrow the car when you cut your hair." Later that same evening the father passed by the son's room where he was stretched out on the bed reading the Bible. He said, "Dad, did you know it says here that Jesus never cut his hair?" His dad said, "Yes, son, and if you read further, you notice it says he walked everywhere he went."
