-- Ephesians 2:8
For by Grace you have been Saved through Faith,
and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of God,

Faith is like an eagle in the clouds; at one view it sees Christ in heaven and looks down upon the world; it sees backwards and forwards; it sees things past, present and to come, and therefore it is that this grace is expressed by beholding. ~ Anonymous

The planting was all done. The soil had been prepared, the seed had been laid, the fertilizer spread. Now all that was left to do was wait. If the rains came soon, everything would be alright, but if they held off just a week or two, it could greatly hurt the crop. The early spring rain was vital. A soft, steady rain could mean the difference between solvency and bankruptcy. The sky was full of deep gray clouds, rolling over head. With the sound of distant thunder, the farmers breathed a deep sigh of relief.

It is hard to accept that our ultimate fate is in the hands of another. Even as great as God is, it is frightenning to know that He holds our destiny in His hands. But just as the farmers feel relief at the first sign of rain, we can feel relieved that our fate has already been sealed by the blood of the lamb, Jesus Christ. Through His sacrifice we have been bonded to God. When we accept Christ into our lives, we accept the promise of eternal bliss with our Father in heaven. There can be no greater joy than knowing that God's love has saved us, and that our future has been decided by His grace.

Prayer:
I look to you for my salvation, Lord, and I feel joy at the assurance of Your great love for me. I have done nothing which is deserving Your favor, but I praise You from the very depths of my soul that You have looked upon me with compassion. Be with me now, and each day to came. Amen.

-- Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For by grace you have been Saved through Faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

-- 2 Timothy 1:9-10
9 God has Saved us and called us to a holy life -- not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel (the Good News).

-- John 3:14-16
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness (Num.21), even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
+ 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

-- Galatians 3:22-24
22 But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through Faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. 23 Before this Faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until Faith should be revealed. 24 So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by Faith.

-- Romans 1:16-17
16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. + 17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by Faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by Faith." (Hab. 2:4)

-- Romans 5:1-2
1 Therefore, since we have been justified through Faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by Faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

-- Romans 8:1-2
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

-- Luke 7:50
Then He said to the woman,
"Your Faith has Saved you. Go in peace."

-- Galatians 5:1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

-- Acts 16:30-31
30 And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be Saved?" + 31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be Saved, you and your household."

-- Romans 10:9-15
+ 9 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be Saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

+ 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame." (Isaiah 28:16) + 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile -- the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, 13 So then, "Whoever calls on the Name of the Lord will be Saved." (Joel 2:32)

+ 14 But how can people call on Him if they have not believed in Him? How can they believe in Him if they have not heard His message? How can they hear if no one tells the Good News? 15 How can people tell the Good News if no one sends them? As Scripture says, "How beautiful are the feet of the messengers who announce the Good News." (Isaiah 52:7)

-- Luke 10:2
Jesus told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field."

-- Hebrews 11:1,6
+ 1 Now Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
+ 6 And without Faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him

-- Hebrews 13:20-21
20 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Salvation is free, ... but discipleship will cost you your life.

Salvation: The Blood of Jesus washes away our past and the Name of Jesus opens up our future. ~ J.Duplantis

The question in salvation is not whether Jesus is Lord, but whether we are submissive to His Lordship. ~J.MacArthur

It is no easy matter to be Saved. It was difficult work to Jesus Christ to work redemption for us. It is difficult work to the Spirit to work grace in us, and to carry it on against corruptions, temptations, distractions. ~ P.Henry

A true Faith in Jesus Christ will not suffer us to be idle. No, it is an active, lively, restless principle; it fills the heart, so that it cannot be easy till it is doing something for Jesus Christ. ~ G.Whitefield

Doubt sees the obstacles
   + Faith sees the way;
Doubt sees the blackest night
   + Faith sees the day;
Doubts dreads to take a step
   + Faith soars on high;
Doubt questions, “Who believes?”
   + Faith answers, “I”
