("Pray To Receive Christ")

-- Philippians 4:6-7
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Many Thanks, Lord

Thank You, Lord, for the cross that You bore.
Thank You for the crown of thorns that You wore.
Thank You for the empty tomb where You lay.
Thank You for our life every day!

So many things to be thankful for,
Like Jesus being the only Door!
Thank You, that You never stayed,
In the tomb, when for our sins You paid!

And for Salvation full and free.
That's what He gives to you and me.
Thank You for knocking on my heart's door,
And making me listen like never before!

You supply my needs and love me too.
I'd like to do something just for You!
Thank You, Jesus, for Calvary.
And thanks for all You do for me!

-- John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me."

-- Revelation 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.

Counting My Blessings

It's been a long time Lord,
Since You, and I have met.
But thinking back on things,
There's not even one, regret.

For You see, Lord I'm happy,
For all the things You've done.
I never would have made it,
Without You're only Son.

If I would count my blessings,
And name them, one by one.
I'd never count them all,
Before the day was done.

I can't remember all the things,
That He has done for me.
But there's one I won't forget,
That's when He set me free.

So as I count my blessings,
There is no room for doubt.
I'm on my way to heaven,
I'll leave here with a shout.

-- John 11:40-42
40 Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?" 41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 I knew that You always hear Me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that You sent Me."

-- Matthew 26:26-28
26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is My body." 27 Then He took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."

-- 1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ.

-- Ephesians 5:19-20
19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

-- Colossians 1:3-6
3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints -- 5 the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel 6 that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth.

-- Colossians 3:15-17
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

-- Colossians 4:2-3
2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. 3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.

-- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-25
16 Be joyful always; 17 Pray continually; 18 Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Do not put out the Spirit’s fire; 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt. 21 Test everything. Hold on to the good. 22 Avoid every kind of evil. 23 May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it. 25 Brothers, pray for us.

-- 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14
13 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

-- 1 Timothy 1:12-16
12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that He considered me faithful, appointing me to His service. 13 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners -- of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display His unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on Him and receive eternal life.

-- Philemon 1:4-5
4 I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, 5 because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints.

-- Revelation 11:17
Saying: "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned."

-- Psalms 95:2
Let us come before Him with thanksgiving
and extol Him with music and song.

-- Psalms 100:4
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise;
Give thanks to Him and praise His name.

-- Psalms 105:1
Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name;
Make known among the nations what He has done.

-- Psalms 106:1
Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD,
For He is good; His love endures forever.

Give Thanks

Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son
(Repeat twice)

And now, Let the weak say "I am strong"
Let the poor say "I am rich"
Because of what the Lord has done for us
(Repeat twice)

Give thanks !
