("How To Receive Christ")
-- Psalm 146:1-2 =
1 Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. /
2 I will praise the LORD all my life; /
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
-- Colossians 3:16 =
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
-- Romans 8:28 =
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

What God gives! He calls Blessing. /
Why He gives? It's called PURPOSE. /
There's Purpose tied to every Blessing.
Psalm 103:
This Psalm is possibly the greatest, grandest, and most glorious poem of praise to Jehovah God ever composed. In it David's zeal reaches its zenith. His reach is higher, his thoughts are deeper, his songs is sweeter, and his heart is more moved than in any other prayer of praise in the Bible.
/ /
David's praise focused on God's glorious deeds. It is easy to complain about life, but David's list gives us plenty for which to praise God: He forgives our sins, heals our diseases, redeems us from death, crowns us with love and compassion, satisfies our desires, and gives righteousness and justice. We receive all of these without deserving any of them. No matter how difficult your life's journey, you can always count your blessings -- past, present, and future. When you feel as though you have nothing for which to praise God, read David's list.

-- Psalm 103 =
(Praise God's Love, Compassion and Grace) =
/
1 Praise the LORD, O my soul; /
All my inmost being, praise His holy name. /
2 Praise the LORD, O my soul, /
And forget not all His benefits: /
3 Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, /
4 Who redeems your life from the pit /
And crowns you with love and compassion, /
5 Who satisfies your desires with good things /
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. /
/
6 The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. /
7 He made known His ways to Moses, /
His deeds to the people of Israel: /
++ 8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, /
Slow to anger, abounding in love. /
9 He will not always accuse, /
Nor will He harbor His anger forever; /
10 He does not treat us as our sins deserve /
Or repay us according to our iniquities. /
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, /
So great is His love for those who fear Him; /
12 As far as the east is from the west, /
So far has He removed our transgressions from us. /
/
13 As a father has compassion on his children, /
So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him; /
14 For He knows how we are formed, /
He remembers that we are dust. /
15 As for man, his days are like grass, /
He flourishes like a flower of the field; /
16 The wind blows over it and it is gone, /
And its place remembers it no more. /
/
17 But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is /
With those who fear Him, /
And His righteousness with their children’s children -- /
18 With those who keep His covenant /
And remember to obey His precepts. /
19 The LORD has established His throne in heaven, /
And His kingdom rules over all. /
/
20 Praise the LORD, you His angels, /
you mighty ones who do His bidding, who obey His word. /
21 Praise the LORD, all His heavenly hosts, /
you His servants who do His will. /
22 Praise the LORD, all His works everywhere in His dominion. /
Praise the LORD, O my soul. /
PRAISE, MY SOUL, THE KING OF HEAVEN =
/
1. Praise, my soul, the King of Heaven; /
To His feet thy tribute bring. /
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, /
Evermore His praises sing: /
Alleluia! Alleluia! /
Praise the everlasting King. /
/
2. Praise Him for His grace and favor /
To our fathers in distress. /
Praise Him still the same as ever, /
Slow to chide, and swift to bless. /
Alleluia! Alleluia! /
Glorious in His faithfulness. /
/
3. Fatherlike He tends and spares us; /
Well our feeble frame He knows. /
In His hands He gently bears us, /
Rescues us from all our foes. /
Alleluia! Alleluia! /
Widely yet His mercy flows. /
/
4. Frail as summer’s flower we flourish, /
Blows the wind and it is gone; /
But while mortals rise and perish /
Our God lives unchanging on, /
Praise Him, Praise Him, Hallelujah /
Praise the High Eternal One! /
/
5. Angels, help us to adore Him; /
Ye behold Him face to face; /
Sun and moon, bow down before Him, /
Dwellers all in time and space. /
Alleluia! Alleluia! /
Praise with us the God of grace. /
/

-- Psalm 100 =
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. /
2 Worship the LORD with gladness; /
Come before Him with joyful songs. /
3 Know that the LORD is God. /
It is He who made us, and we are His; /
We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. /
4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; /
Give thanks to Him and praise His name. /
5 For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; /
His faithfulness continues through all generations.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY =
/
1. To God be the glory, great things He has done; /
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son, /
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin, /
And opened the life gate that all may go in. /
/
Refrain /
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, /
Let the earth hear His voice! /
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, /
Let the people rejoice! /
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son, /
And give Him the glory, great things He has done. /
/ ---------------- ^^^ ---------------- /
/
2. O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood, /
To every believer the promise of God; /
The vilest offender who truly believes, /
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives. /
/
>> Refrain /
/
3. Great things He has taught us, great things He has done, /
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son; /
But purer, and higher, and greater will be /
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see. /
/
>> Refrain /

-- Ephesians 1:2-3 =
2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
-- 1 Peter 1:3-5 =
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade -- kept in heaven for you,
5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
-- 2 Corinthians 1:2-4, 11 =
2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
4 Who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
++ 11 As you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.
-- Psalm 118:26-29 =
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! /
We have blessed you from the house of the LORD. /
27 God is the LORD, And He has given us light; /
Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar. /
28 You are my God, and I will praise You; /
You are my God, I will exalt You. /
29 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! /
For His love and mercy endures forever. /
