Sept 4.98: Light For The Day - "What Am I Without God?"

"What Am I Without God?"

For once in my life I finally see the light
A light that was never in my life before
I was on the road to suicide
but a good friend saved me

Jesus is the one who gave me a second chance at living
when I feel sad or depressed there is someone I can turn to
I'm not alone because He's always with me
I know that I'm loved despite all my sins

Because Jesus sacrificed His life for sinners like me
He did this because He loves each and every one of us
He invited us to come and give up our sins to Him
If we do we are forgiven by the grace of God

I'm glad I found Him before I died
If I didn't I wouldn't be here now
Life is worth living
And it's great to know that someone cares if you're alive
