Everybody needs a little hope
Everybody needs love
Everybody needs to feel wanted
Somehow this is not enough

Everybody needs to be embraced
Everybody needs a friend or two
Everybody needs to be understood
Somehow it's not coming through

What everybody needs
Can't be found on this earth
What everybody needs
Is the second birth

Everybody needs to be free
Yet everybody cries
Everybody needs to find peace
Somehow it's all lies

Everybody needs comfort
Everybody needs a clean soul
Everybody needs a chance for Salvation
To make them whole

Everybody needs someone to get them
Through when times are hard
Everybody needs to see that
Everybody needs God!
