Dec 14.98: Light For The Day - "Sometimes"

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden,

"Sometimes"

Sometimes when I feel overwhelmed
with all I have to do,
I just have to give up the helm
and get my strength renewed.

That's when I sit down to pray
and spend some time with God.
I give him my problems for that day
before another step I trod.

God will see me through.
He will give me strength and vim
for everything I need to do.
All I have to do is trust in Him.

God will give me peace and power.
He will not forsake me.
He is my strength, my rock, my tower
as now a clearer path I see.

With God's help there's no doubt I can do it
so I try as hard as I might,
and sure enough, as I knew I knew it,
He's once again my way, my truth, my light.
