As I gaze into the starlit night
I see your face above
You look at me and smile at me
And show your faith and love

You comfort me and carry me
Through all my pain and fears
You hold me close and stand by me
And dry up all my tears

You hear me every time I pray
You are my dearest friend
You listen as I scream or sob
My broken hearts you mend

When I think my life is at it's worst
I feel your shining love 
As I gaze into the starlit night
I see your face above.
