July 20.99: Light For The Day - "Morning Reflections"

"You hear my voice in the morning;
at sunrise I offer my prayer
and wait for your answer."

"Morning Reflections"

The early morning silence 
Is music to my ears.
A time of contemplation,
A releasing of my fears.

Each day is full of promise
I must do my part.
And God says,
My child, I am with you

Just listen to your heart.
I walk beside you always
My comfort to impart.
My mercy's new all day through
With strength right from the start.

I know this life's not easy
It isn't meant to be.
But life's journey however tough
Only serves to strengthen me.

The hope I have is with me
Each minute of the day.
And nothing anyone can do 
Will make it go away.

For I know from where my 
Salvation comes.
The assurance is my part
For putting my trust in Jesus Christ
And giving him my heart.
