July 28.99: Light For The Day - "God is with us"

Stillness fills the scene
peace sets the stage
another day of this life
another flip of the page

i strive and strive
to climb these walls
hopelessness dwells within
desperation calls

God is with us

Embarked on this journey
it seems an endless mission
all it is, all it will be
is captured in my vision

My eyes are sore, my heart is broke
love is lost
for my sins are many
what is the cost

God is with us

Bitterness migrates my soul
chaos forms more walls
in all my weakness
on the hands of Mercy i fall

i cried out in anguish
this life was so hard
the shadow that welcomed me
was our loving God

God is with us

Good is with us
through our trials and tribulations
through every situation
God is with us

The walls came tumbling down 
once i gave my trust
love has lifted me
cause God is with us
