Aug 04.99: Light For The day - "Just Forgiven"

Christian are not perfect, just forgiven.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just,
and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.

If we say we have not sinned,
we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

"If we confess our sins" --
Instead of affirming that we are sinless 
we should confess our sins.

"He is faithful and just" --
If we confess our sins the Lord will be
faithful to his promise of mercy. 
He will be fair and just in imputing 
rightousness to us because of the atonement 
of Christ--"to forgive us our sins."
