Sept 23.99: Light For The Day - "i am His"

Down and out
tested and tried
in a river of pain i swim
from the tears i have cried

Bleeding for love
dying for a friend
everyday i am praying
that God will hear and send

Yet the One thing i cannot avoid
is in me there is always joy, cause
i am His

and no matter where i am
He is
and when the rain starts to pour
i feel like i can't go on anymore
what a relief it is
to know that
i am His

Sheltered with cold
living in fear
tormented inside
for so many years

Yet the One thing i cannot avoid
