Oct 26.99: Light For The Day - "Your Strength"

strength must come from the Lord's

Dear God,

It is so good of You to remind me of important
matters in many different ways, but especially
through Your Word.

There are times when I feel very weak, times when
I feel strong. 

There are times when I feel capable of attacking
any problem that my position demands. 

Then there are times when the burden of
responsibility becomes overpowering.

Father, whether it be moments of weakness or
moments of strength, may I realize that my
strength does come from Your mighty power
within me. Thank You for reminding me of this
truth.

Help me to relax in the calmness and security
that I can do all things through Christ whose
mighty power is working in me.

Because I know myself, I'll need reminding
again - that my strength is in the Lord.
Remind me again, Lord.
